Nationally-Recognized Neurosciences Care
Our team of expert physicians, trained at the nation's top medical centers, provide care for the full range of stroke and neurosciences conditions. Our technology, which includes a 64-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner, two 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners and other tools, rivals that found in most academic medical centers.
We take a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, drawing on the expertise of our many specialists.
By treating a large volume of cases, we've become especially skilled at dealing with complex cases. Patients admitted to our 10-bed neurointensive care unit and 28-bed neurosciences unit receive medical management from a team of 25 neurointensivists—physicians who specialize in caring for stroke and neurosciences patients.. We are one of only a few community-based hospitals in the United States to have a neurocritical care unit fully staffed by neurointensivists.
