Your gifts work miracles in the lives of thousands of patients.
To the patient who has just learned of a serious diagnosis, the road ahead looms like a giant mountain. The services and programs funded by donor dollars make that journey easier. Other donor dollars extend services to patients who lack the resources to obtain critical care. Still others fund programs to improve the general health of our community, reducing the chance that individuals will contract diseases or conditions that require hospitalization.
Nothing is more important than our good health, and through philanthropy, your investment in the health of our community provides that extra margin of excellence to supplement the work of the dedicated and compassionate caregivers at Forsyth Medical Center. The volunteer board takes its stewardship of donor gifts very seriously.
All gifts matter. Varied in size and purpose, together they have great power to improve the lives of our family, friends and neighbors in this area. Here are just a few examples of what donors have made possible:
- Clinical trials to ensure that potentially terminally ill patients in our area have every opportunity to defeat their diseases.
- Participation in cancer prevention studies to test supplements and other pharmaceuticals that may prevent cancer development.
