You are invited to join the fight against breast cancer and give the gift of life this holiday season. With nearly 500 cases year each, breast cancer is the leading diagnosis at the Derrick L. Davis Forsyth Regional Cancer Center at Forsyth Medical Center.
The good news is that screening can save lives. Almost 98 percent of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer in the earliest stages survive compared to 26 percent who are diagnosed in the most advanced stages of the disease.
A mammogram is the best screening procedure for the early detection of breast cancer. Each year, as a result of your gifts, hundreds of women who are uninsured or underinsured have a free mammogram.
This holiday season consider giving the gift of life. Your donation will provide mammography screening procedures to women with no medical insurance or financial resources to pay for services.
