This room was dedicated to David Collins, M.D. and made possible by a gift from Malcolm Brown, M.D and wife, Patty.   • Derrick L. Davis, who gave more than $5 million to the Forsyth Regional Cancer Center, now named in his honor.
  • Hanesbrands Inc., formerly Sara Lee Branded Apparel, which gave $5 million to create a premier women's center, now known as the Sara Lee Center for Women's Health.
  • The Forsyth Medical Center Auxiliary, which committed $1 million for the Cancer Commons Area, which is named in its honor. Their gift also included $30,000 for the William G. Friddle Meditation Room and Chapel, named in memory of a dedicated, long-term volunteer.
  • Wachovia Corporation, which gave $500,000 to the Sara Lee Center for Women's Health for a nutrition program aimed at reducing and eliminating obesity in area K-12 students and $150,000 to create The Wachovia Scholarship for Nursing Excellence.
  • Tab and Linda Williams, who made a $300,000 gift to construct a high-tech conference room in the Cancer Center, which is named in their honor.
  • BB&T Corporation, which made a $200,000 gift to fund the purchase of a new mobile mammography coach unit for The Breast Clinic.
  • Beth and Sandy Baldwin, who made a $100,000 gift to help create a clinical trial and research area in the Derrick L. Davis Forsyth Regional Cancer Center in memory or their son, Branner Dixson Baldwin.
  • The radiation and oncology physicians, who made a gift of $100,000 to create and equip a state-of-the-art meeting/conference room in the Forsyth Regional Cancer Center honoring Sharon Murphy, the Center's executive director.
  • Jerry and Marieanne Long, who gave $50,000 for a patient garden outside the Cancer Center's chemotherapy treatment area.
  • John and Peggy Taylor, who made a $50,000 gift for a neonatal intensive care unit library in the Sara Lee Center for Women's Health, which is named in their honor.
  • William H. Petree Sr. family, who made a $25,000 gift for a solarium on the palliative care floor, which is named in their honor.
