In 1887, a small group of women in the then separate towns of Winston and Salem, organized the Ladies Twin City Hospital Association to raise funds for the community's first hospital. Their exceptional dream and philanthropic spirit live today in the remarkable people and medicine of Forsyth Medical Center, one of the largest medical centers in North Carolina. Forsyth Medical Center is grateful for the generosity of donors who care for others through their gifts of time, talent and financial resources.
