Our diagnostic services are for women with breast problems such as a lump, nipple discharge, prior history of breast cancer or follow-up from an abnormal screening mammogram.
Through continuing research into new treatment methods, women now have more treatment options and hope for survival than ever before.
Our Lymphedema specialist offers specialized services to reduce swelling after cancer treatment.
Multidisciplinary Breast Conference
For people newly diagnosed with breast cancer, we offer a weekly breast conference where cases are reviewed by a team of specialists to develop the best treatment plan for individual patients. At the conference, radiology films (mammograms, ultrasounds) are reviewed as well as the pathology of biopsies and surgical procedures the patient has undergone. Specialists discuss whether further surgery is needed and whether the patient would benefit from radiation therapy, chemotherapy or hormonal therapy. Eligibility for possible clinical trials is reviewed so that all appropriate treatment options may be presented to the patient.
