Remarkable Medicine
Our cardiovascular research program is dedicated to developing improvements in clinical care. We do this by participating in the latest clinical trials, giving patients access to breakthrough treatments that they otherwise wouldn't have.
We currently have numerous clinical trials underway, including pharmaceutical studies, internal device studies, studies of stents and angioplasty alternatives. Many trials are conducted by cardiologists on our staff. Some of our cardiologists serve as national principal investigators. This gives us research expertise that is on par with any academic facility, but with greater flexibility.
Our clinical research has led to some signficant breakthroughs in treatment. We were the first cardiac and vascular center in the United States to provide intra-coronary brachytherapy.
