This study is testing a new neuroprotective agent, primarily for use within the first six hours after stroke symptom onset.
An agent called Abciximab, an anti-platelet compound, is used in this study for acute ischemic stroke.
This study involves the use of a monoclonal IgG antibody for human Factor IX to limit any ongoing thrombosis.
