Contacting the NICU
| Parents are always welcome in the NICU and we encourage you to be with your baby as often as possible. During those times when you are unable to come to the NICU, please call to check on your baby. |
Who May Call
Information regarding an infant's condition will be given only to the mother and father.
When You May Call
Mother and father may call 24 hours a day with the exception of the shift change times listed below.
- 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
- 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- 10:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

Personal Calls
Parents are welcome to use the NICU telephones for local outgoing calls. To avoid tying up the telephone system, please limit any incoming calls to one each time you're in the NICU. Public telephones are available in the hospital lobby on the first floor if you wish to place a long distance call.
