Forsyth Medical Center names new Director of Cardiopulmonary Services

Forsyth Medical Center announced recently that Shelbourn Stevens has been promoted to Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. In his new role, Stevens will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cardiopulmonary Services departments at Forsyth Medical Center and Medical Park Hospital, which include respiratory care for adults as well as within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; the EKG, EEG and pulmonary labs; and the telemetry monitoring unit.
Stevens has been with Forsyth Medical Center for 14 years, most recently as Manager for Cardiopulmonary Services. He has extensive experience caring for patients with a range of breathing problems, from asthma to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Forsyth Medical Center is one of seven hospitals that are part of Novant Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system based in North Carolina.
