Forsyth Medical Center names Director of Martinat Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers

Forsyth Medical Center announced recently that Anita Barney has been appointed the new Director of the Martinat Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers. In her new role, Barney will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations at Martinats five Triad locations, Hawthorne Medical Plaza and PrimeCare of Highland Oaks in Winston-Salem, and satellite locations in Kernersville, Mocksville and Mount Airy.
Barney received her degree in physical therapy from Ohio State University in 1989. She has 14 years of experience caring for patients in acute care, outpatient, home health and long term care. Barney worked for Forsyth Medical Center from 1992 to 1999 before relocating to New York, where she was the owner of a rehabilitation consulting practice.
Forsyth Medical Center is one of seven hospitals that are part of Novant Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system based in North Carolina.
