Forsyth Medical Center announces promotions

Forsyth Medical Center recently announced the following promotions:
Penny Benton, RN, BSN, has been promoted to the position of Nurse Manager for the hospitals Mother/Baby Units. Benton has been with Forsyth Medical Center for six years. She has extensive experience on the Mother/Baby Unit, where nurses are responsible for the care of mothers and newborns.
Kellie Berrier, RN, BSN, has been promoted to the position of Staff Development Clinician in the hospitals Emergency Department. In her new role, Berrier will be responsible for mentoring new employees and coordinating staff development efforts. Berrier has been with Forsyth Medical Center for two and a half years, most recently as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
Matthew Lewis has been promoted to the position of Rehabilitation Clinic Manager. In his new role, Lewis will manage several outpatient rehabilitation programs and clinics at Forsyths Whitaker Rehabilitation Center, including the Supportive Employment Program, Wheelchair Clinic, Low Vision Clinic and Oral Facial Clinic. Lewis has been with Forsyth Medical Center for five years, and has worked as a Physical Therapist in outpatient clinics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
