National Stroke Care Certification - first in NC
Forsyth Medical Center was the first hospital in the state of North Carolina to receive national Stroke Care Certification from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The designation is awarded to facilities that demonstrate excellence in healthcare quality and meet the strict national standards set by JCAHO and the American Stroke Association.
First Nationally Certified Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Program in the Carolinas
