Statistics and Annual Report

Every year, Forsyth Medical Center publishes a report to the community in an effort to keep our community informed about the performance of the health system as well as information about the services we provide. The highlights of this year's annual report include:

• The Cardiac Surgery Team once again earned the highest rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS). This is the team’s second consecutive three-star rating which is awarded based on its performance in the prior 12 months.

  The Orthopaedic Team received Blue Distinction Center status for total hip, total knee and spine centers of excellence from Blue Cross Blue Shield.
