Statistics and Annual Report

Every year, Forsyth Medical Center publishes a report to the community in an effort to keep our community informed about the performance of the health system as well as information about the services we provide. The highlights of this year's annual report include:

• Achieving full certification for Heart Failure Program f
  rom Joint Commission.
• Achieving  recertification as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI through the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
• Receiving  the 2008 VHA Leadership Award for Superior System Performance in providing high-quality care in the following four key clinical areas: treating heart attacks, and preventing surgical infections.
