Pharmacy Scholarship

Forsyth Medical Center is offering a $10,000 per year scholarship – up to $30,000 for 3 years (P2-P4) – in return for joining our team for one year per each $10,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, leadership ability and extracurricular activity involvement.

Applicant eligibility includes:

• P2, P3 or P4 pharmacy students from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy
•  
  Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2
• Pharmacy related work experience is preferred                            

Application Checklist

• Complete scholarship application
•  
  Provide an official academic transcript
• Provide 2 letters of recommendation from pharmacy instructors
• Complete a personal interview with the department of pharmacy interview team

Forsyth Medical Center also offers the opportunity to work as an intern in the pharmacy. As an intern, you will be exposed to all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice which will be beneficial to your future career as a pharmacist. In addition to some technical job responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to assist with  clinical and management projects.
