Eligible Applicants:
- Successfully complete a Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and obtain a North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
- Apply for a Physical Therapy position at Forsyth Medical Center complete the interview process accept a position and begin work at Forsyth Medical Center as a full time (.9 FTE or greater position) physical therapist.
- Must have graduated from an accredited PT program in 12 months or less from date of job offer.
Award Information:

Upon beginning work, each new Physical Therapy graduate will receive $15,000 in award funds to be distributed over the course of the first three years of employment. The funds will help to assist in the repayment of school expenses that may have been incurred. The $15,000 is equally divided among 78 paychecks (three years) and distributed via bi-weekly paychecks, in addition to regular wages earned. The $15,000 award will be adjusted to a higher amount in order to cover a portion of the taxes. The recipient will be responsible for covering additional taxes.
Your Committment
Recipients of the award are expected to work for Forsyth Medical Center for three years, full time as a physical therapist, and will be required to sign an award agreement as a condition of employment.
