Emotional Problem EvaluationA series of tests and observations to assess emotional issues. Family CounselingFamily counseling is the treatment of emotional disorder of a family unit. It is based on the belief that the family is a unique social system with its own structure and patterns of communication. Any change in one member of the family affects both the family structure and each member individually. Group CounselingTherapy technique which includes interaction among group members with a counselor or other leader.
Intensive Outpatient Behavioral Health ProgramAn intensive outpatient program is just what the name implies--"a more intensive level of outpatient services." Therapists and other professionals manage this program and provide various group and individual therapies in a stable, safe environment. The individual learns coping skills by exploring his or her own environment outside of treatment.
Partial Hospitalization Program for Behavioral HealthThe Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) staff includes therapists and other professionals who work with individuals requiring a less intensive program than the inpatient level. Partial hospitalization allows the individual to attend the program during the weekday and return home for nights and weekends to practice some of the skills they are learning. It can serve as a transition from inpatient to outpatient care and provides an alternative to inpatient care for individuals who meet specific criteria. Substance Abuse Education ProgramSome patients in the early stages of substance abuse do not need a highly intensive level of care. This program is intended to educate the beginner user on the short and long-term effects of substance abuse, and the benefits of addressing the problem in its early stages. The goal is to prevent substance abuse dependence by stopping the problem before it progresses to active addiction.
