About Forsyth Medical Center Behavioral Health Services

Forsyth Medical Center Behavioral Health Services has expanded into a comprehensive mental health care system that can now meet the emotional and physical needs of both adults and adolescents. Its staff of psychiatrists, RNs, counselors and therapists provide treatment.

Programs within Behavioral Health include:

• Intensive Outpatient - Operating during day and evening hourse with flexible treatment opitions, this program allows patients to make their own schedules.
• Outpatient Counseling - Group, individual and family sessions are available with convenient scheduling.
• Substance Abuse Services - Day or evening hours are available. This level of care requires a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week.
