About Thomasville Medical Center

Thomasville Medical Center provides the full spectrum of acute, outpatient community wellness and home health services.

Thomasville Medical Center is a 146-bed community hospital, serving the Davidson County community. It's accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the American Hospital Association.

The medical center, like the community it serves, has grown up around the values of honesty, self-reliance and determination. It had its beginnings during the Great Depression, through the efforts of local doctors and a community that believed in its mission.

Since that time, residents of Davidson County have looked upon their hospital with pride. And with good reason: Right in their county, they can find medical treatments for their general surgical and medical needs and such conditions as sleep disorders, heartburn treatment, chest pain, spinal injuries, strokes and geriatric behavioral health. Our affiliated physician practices offer family medicine and urgent care, along with specialties such as cardiology, ear, nose and throat, cancer treatment and orthopaedics.

And through affiliations with Forsyth Medical Center nearby, patients from Davidson County and the surrounding areas can find care that is state-of-the-art and second to none, from the advanced treatments available through the clinical research that is conducted there, to the academic qualifications - and caring natures - or its doctors and nurses.
