In many cases, testicular cancer is able to be detected in its earliest stages. Often, signs and symptoms appear, which cause men to talk to their doctors. However, not all testicular cancer cases present signs early. Some cases may not show any symptoms until the cancer reaches advanced stages. That is why it is important to maintain a regular check-up schedule with your physician.

Men who experience the following symptoms should consult their doctor to determine if further testing should be done.

  • Enlargement or change in the testicles
  •
Small, hard lump on testicle(s) approximately the size of a pea
  • Dull ache in the abdomen
  • Dragging or heaviness
  • Enlargement of breast; tender nipples
