Institutional Review Board (IRB)

Forsyth Medical Center IRB conducts review for all research done by NCRI. On some occasions, FMC IRB will defer review to another IRB in a collaborative arrangement.

Forsyth Medical Center IRB meets on the first Thursday of each month. Approvals are available within one week following the meeting. Submission deadline is 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting. FMC-IRB will defer to central IRB's on a case-by-case basis determined by the risk profile of the study.
