In many cases your physician can manage foot and ankle disorders without surgery. But when surgery is recommended, our orthopaedic specialists use advanced techniques to help get you on your feet again.

We use sophisticated diagnostic imaging and specialized neurologic and electrodiagnostic studies to help determine the best treatment plan for your condition. Our team of experts includes orthopaedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses and other orthopaedic specialists.

Whether you need corrective surgery for a foot deformity, or arthroscopic surgery to repair an ankle joint, the specialists at Forsyth Medical Center provide the latest medical and surgical technology. In many cases you may have the surgery as an outpatient, which can help you with a speedier recovery. When you are ready to leave the hospital, a social worker or discharge planner will help coordinate your post-operative care, which may include HomeCare services.
