Physical and occupational therapies are provided by physician referral to newly injured workers. These services can be provided at the worksite through a contract with Martinat Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.

The purpose of Cognitive and Employment Services is to provide a holistic approach for persons with non-progressive brain damage or neurological conditions to improve independence, employability and quality of life.

Specially trained therapists go on-site to workplaces to determine ergonomic risk factors for individuals or departments and prepare written recommendations.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) determine an individual's ability to perform physical work.

Job Demands Analysis is performed by specially trained physical and occupational therapists to analyze the physical requirements of performing a job in order to write a functional job description, create a post-offer screening test or a restricted duty program.

In this program, a physical or occupational therapist will create custom, educational presentations for employers about topics such as proper body mechanics, proper lifting techniques, maintaining a healthy back and more.

This screening assesses whether a newly-hired employee can physically perform tasks that are required in the job for which he/she was hired.

Therapists experienced in treating injured workers create individualized programs based on job requirements to progress the worker to return to previous work.
