Interpreter Services

Forsyth Medical Center's Patient Relations Department helps limited-English speaking patients and their families communicate with our providers and staff. This service is available at no cost to our patients.

Interpreter Assistance

Free sign language and oral interpreters, TTY's and other services are available to deaf and hard-of-hearing persons.

When you register as a patient, please let the staff know if you need an interpreter to assist you. Call the Patient Relations Department at 336-718-2005 for assistance.

Forsyth Medical Center has on-site Spanish interpreters available. If you need interpretation for another language, we offer 150 languages by phone.

Other interpreter services available:

  • American sign language
  • Services for deaf and hard of hearing
  • Services for the blind

Special requests for on-site interpreters, other than Spanish, will be considered for available interpreters speaking the requested language.
