Today, the Breast Clinic continues this proud tradition as a comprehensive, state-of-the-art breast imaging center offering a full array of diagnostic services. The Breast Clinic is one of the largest single-site breast imaging centers in the Southeast. Our physicians are board-certified and have more than 25 years of experience in breast imaging. All clinic technologists are registered nationally with advanced certification in mammography. The Breast Clinic is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Our Purpose
The Breast Clinic strives to increase awareness about breast cancer through education and early detection. In addition to providing comprehensive diagnostic services on site, the Breast Clinic sponsors a mobile mammography unit, which travels to remote, under-served areas to provide screenings and information about the disease. The Breast Clinic also offers breast health programs to the community and businesses free of charge.

Getting Regular Mammograms
Doctors recommend routine mammograms because they are the best tools for finding breast cancer early, and early detection is the best weapon for fighting breast cancer. Regular mammograms, along with routine breast exams by a healthcare professional, and monthly breast self-exams can reduce deaths from breast cancer among women age 40 or older. While this is true, remember that mammography is not 100% perfect. Beginning at age 40, you should have a mammogram annually.
